Senator Laura Thielen represents Kailua, Waimanalo and Hawaii Kai. Earlier she was an attorney in private practice; at Legal Aid Society of Hawaii; ran her own business; served on the State Board of Education; as the Director of the State Office of Planning; and, as Chairperson of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
